Entrepreneurial experience at the intersection of technology, markets and organisations.

Olaf Bendt brings more than three decades of experience in industry, technology and corporate leadership. His professional background combines engineering expertise with commercial responsibility, strategic business development and many years in executive management.

Since 2012, he has led the strategic and operational development of the dsb Group – initially as a member of the Management Board and subsequently as Managing Director. Under his leadership, the group was restructured at corporate and organisational level, financially stabilised through its own operating performance and developed into a leading provider of subscription management solutions for publishers across the German-speaking markets and the United Kingdom.

His core areas of expertise include the strategic realignment of business models, corporate transformation, growth and platform strategies, and the governance of equity interests and complex shareholder structures. He has also initiated and supported M&A and exit processes – from strategic preparation and structuring through negotiation, signing and closing.

His advisory approach combines analytical and engineering expertise with extensive leadership, market and execution experience.

Current Responsibilities

Owner and Advisor at OB Advisory GmbH and Managing Director of dsb it services GmbH. Olaf Bendt also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of dsb ccb solutions GmbH and represents shareholder interests in companies in which the dsb Group holds equity stakes.
